    Thumbs down Fix corrupt Jpeg's?

Hey there, my son deleted the photo off of my card from the camera. I have not used or formatted the card since. I have tried several recovery softwares, but without great results. I have over 180 pictures on the card, but all but a handful won't open, and some that have been recovered have grey throughout the pictures. Is there some way to fix corrupt jpegs and recover the majority of these pictures? Thanks for your help.

Do you have a card reader? With some camera's the cards are not formatted with Dos fat 16 or 32, those you will have to use the usb connect to the camera, which my not allow you to recover files.

If the card can be read from a card reader, or from the camera without using drivers, most likely you can recover the deleted jpg with any file recovery program, unless it was overwritten. That is the man reason that the images become corrupted. Lexmark has a recovery program for flash cards the works good.

Does the Lexmark software have a name, and where can I find it? Thanks for your help.
