cant load pics on site?

I have been trying the last few days to load pics taken with my new cam(nikon 3200) with no luck,i get a msg that says pic is loaded but theres no pic?
So I took pics with my sony and downloaded to my computer and then i was able to load the pic to site?? i'm confused?? help please

What is the process you follow?
Is it any different than what you do with the Sony?

I did the same process with the Nikon as the Sony,thats why i'm confused.

Are you uploading JPG or RAW (NEF) files?

I just checked and all my photos are JPEG ,could the difference with the higher mega pixels in the nikon cause the problem?

What is your edit program.
In photoshop elements, I reduce size to 800x and then save. When I click save I have to lower the quality of the saved image to 9 or 10 or it is too much information.
Also found that saving for web doesn't distort color and brightness so much.

So I did some comparing as I still can't post pics from my Nikon 3200 but i can get the pics on site from the canon and the sony,its so crazy as i'm doing it the same??

so here is what i found that were differnt on the cameras

Sony pic size is 2448X3264,JPEG,size 3.04mb
Canon is 2272X1704,JPEG,size 354kb
Nikon 3200 is 6016X4000,JPEG,size 698mb

i just am baffled at how to load the nikon pics please help,sugestions??

You have to resize it and save it with less quality. It will still look fine for the web.

What edit program are you using????????

Right now i just have the paint program,my computer ,which is pretty much garbage,i have photoshop on my other computer,time to update the laptop.So much frustration for such an easy solve,

upon further investigation into the software provided by Nikon they have their own program for editing which obviously I did'nt check out too carefully,had the program to change the size,so i managed to upload my pic which i so thoughtfully called "success" lol
