cant get images off my card

I shot bunch of pics today but some reason I can not get them into lightroom. 61 images will not download. I can see them on my camera but unable to read them on my computer. I use scandisk Extreme III 4.0gb card. Do I need to download from the card while its still in the camera? I think I need to send this card back to the company.

While in Bridge I can see the file but no image.

Are you on a mac or a pc?

You could try putting the card in an external card reader, and go through windows explorer (if you're on a pc) to see if you can see the images.

Im a PC guy. I use the card reader of my printer.

Before blaming the card, I'd definitely try copying them direct to the PC via external card reader or direct from camera with USB cable.

That possibly could be it. You could also try using the USB cable that came with your camera, and plugging it directly into the computer.

I just tried to use the USB from the camera to the computer and it says no files. all though I can see them on the camera. Also I am unable to see the images when plugged to the CPU. unhook it and its fine.
It reads it now but says image can not be supported, damaged or deleted.

You might need to change a mode on your D200 to plug it directly into the computer. I know on my D2h I can put it in either "Mass Storage" mode or a different mode. If I set it to Mass Storage I can see the photos on there.

I did this ,I see all the files but when I click on it to open in lightroom or photoshop it says file either deleted or damaged. I wonder if my camera is about to go? it also says can notopen cause its not the right document.????
