    Canon "Refurbished" Lenses?
    Adorama is selling various Canon lenses as "Factory Refurbished" anyone have any experience with these?

    One lens and one point and shoot digital camera. The lens was the EF 50mm f1.4 USM, it broke after a week or so last year or the year before. I chose not to return it and fixed it myself -really fun taking those things apart. The camera body was an A60 that was d.o.a.-last week-sent it back for repair/replacement. I don't think I'll be buying another item from Canon that's refurbished.

    Canon refurbs are OK, simply new items that had a fault and were returned. Canon service repaired the problem and now they are back on the market at a lower price. Been using a refurb lens for 4 years without problems, and used refurb gear at Indy 500 without problems.
