Canon Rebel TI vs. Rebel T2
I know that the T2 just came out but what are the opinions on the two comparisons? I have decided that it will between these two. The TI is about $80 cheaper (body only). Is the T2 worth the extra to spend or not?

    Thanks.

I 'll let you know when I get mine hopefully tommorow, I ordered it from a camera shop about 200 miles from my home...( I had been looking for it on all the online dealerships , couldnt find it) My fiance ordered it for me , I havent seen one in person ( yes I know that is bad) I have been looking for a camera for a while now and have done a lot of research....what made me decide on the T2 was I heard that it had a faster shutter speed than the Ti..( 1/4000 for the T2 and 1/2000 for the Ti) and a better flash as well as "souped up other features ,Im sure you read this on the Canon website......(I got mine for the same price as the Ti $269 for body and 28- 90mm lens) hopefully I made the right decision, this will be my first SLR so I imagine I will spend a lot of time learning it. I' ll let you know how it goes........

Yeah its Arlington Camera in Arlington, Texas ..... with shipping & handling it was probably closer to $299 but I'm not sure because my fiance is buying it for me for a wedding present. I really wanted to look at it and try it out, but she ( my fiance) called me at work Monday said she called Arlington camera they said they could ship it and so she bought it for me. She said they told her it was the last one and they have had them for about a week...The only camera shop we have in this little town said they didnt know when they would get it in, but there was a long waiting list for it, so apparantly it is a good camera....I'm sorry, but I'm embarrased to admit it but I dont know what QD is.... I have used a point and shoot for about 10 years and I decided to get a SLR , so Im new to a lot of this...I'm still waiting for UPS to bring it, So when I get it maybe I' ll be able to help you more
