Can anyone help me?

Hey everyone I'm new here. I have a Minolta Dimage XT that I just got for my birthday. I enjoy taking pictures of my car. I don't know much if anything about photography, and I'm a newb when it comes to cameras. I know it's not the best camera as far as image quality is concerned, but is there a tuturial anywhere where I can learn how to use the camera and adjust it for different conditions to take better pictures? Any help is very much appreciated.
