    can a 10 mp digital camera make 16:9 photos?

    Hi guys i have the samsung pl 60 camera which i purchase recently. All the photos i made are 4:3. Is there anyways i can take photos in 16:9? i want the photos to fill the whole screen on my 24" lcd monitor for slideshows. or do i need a 12mp camera to do this?

    You will have to custom crop or insert the photo into a letter box for each photo to correctly fit the 16:9 ratio. A 3:2 ratio (35mm film) camera you would not have to crop as much as a 4:3 video ratio.

    Sert the image size to 7MW (be sure it's the W). - TF

    10MP can handle it, but only if your camera can handle the aspect ratio. You could do a panorama by stitching several shots together, though.
