Bronica/Hasselblad/rolleiflex
Hello,
I hope you can help me with this one.
I have the oppertunity to purchase a second hand "as new" Bronica SQ-AI with speedgrip, 2x 120 backs, WLF, 80mm 2.8 PS and 150mm 4.0 PS for 450 euro
This to me sounds like a great deal.
Should i go for this or buy a rolleiflex for about the same kind of money or even save up for a hasselblad with 1 lens.
My intentions are to take my portaits to the next level, analog
Regards
Re: Bronica/Hasselblad/rolleiflex
I did a check round Internet on the Bronica SQ :
- It went out of production in 2003
- Main body parts (for repair) will be available for 10 years
- Other parts will be available for 5 years (i.e. finished already)
This looks to me like a very bad deal. If anything happens to the camera next year then it may be unrepairable.
Stick with number 1. Go for a Hasselblad 500 C/M. That's why they are more expensive on the second-hand market. There are more of them around and more people who know how to repair them
