anyone tried the Novoflex EOS Reverse Adapter for Macro?
I recently took my equipment on a trip and found multiple areas that need improvement. Among others, I found my inability to do macro work very frustrating. Looking for some solutions to the problem, I found the Novoflex EOS Reverse Adapter. They recommend the 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 for the adapter, which is my primary lens for an Elan IIe body.

Could anyone comment on the quality, ease-of-use, etc. on the Novoflex adapter? Anyone have any pictures available using the adapter? Thanks!

    They make good stuff
I don't own the Novoflex adapter, but I've seen their products at many trade shows and I think they make great stuff. They're very creative with the products they design and the quality is as good as it gets. I remember playing with both the bellows and the adapter at a show a couple of years ago, but I wasn't using my own camera so I don't have any photos to show for it. The macro ability of the EF 28-105mm lens with the adapter is excellent, though. That much I remember.

Another option is the Canon EF 50mm f/2.5. I have that lens and for most purposes it's got more than enough close-up capability. And if you really need 1:1, then you can also get the 1:1 adapter. I have that, too. But I hardly ever use it.
