Re: any help, help needed
Sam-
It sort of sounds like you're trying to get us to do your assignment for you. Have you looked at the digital camera review section on this site? If you look up those cameras you'll find all of the information you need. And then you can do your own comparison.
And what if the Olympus C-5050 doesn't turn out the be the "best" camera? Is this an objective comparison? Shouldn't you be starting without any preconceptions? It's not a fair comparison if you start out with predetermined results and try to make the data fit. Plus, it's usually not so simple. The best camera really depends on who's using it, and what the intended use is. It's possible that the G6 is best for one thing and the Nikon is best for one type of photography. The C-5050 may be a great camera, but to work up a comparison that says it's the best sounds a little fishy to me.

Sounds like an Advertising class to me.

Hi
It is sort of to do with an advertising assignment. However I am sorry I did not mean to write it in a way which sounded like you doing the assignment for me. Im not very good with cameras etc so just needed some general help around what the topics that were stated in the first post. Because it is an assignment, it favours the olympus so it is unfair.
Anyways if anyone can help in any way that would be of great help.
thank you

The web site http://www.dpreview.com has extensive lab test reports of digital cameras. They are lengthy and involved but will provide you with the information you seek.
