    Help with settings/ technique

    I am wondering how to get this type of darker photo effect and still having a nice sharp looking photo.

    I doubt that this effect was achieved in camera. Certainly the vignetting was added after the fact and I am sure there were several colour adjustments. This sort of work is usually achieved using adobe photoshop however there are other programs such as gimp and paint shop pro that can also acheive similar effects.

    bracketing may help. But I agree with skyman, this picture was processed. Probably in Light Room.
