    Al Servo on 10D/20D

I currently shoot with a digital rebel and the only time where I can use al servo is when I am shooting in sports mode. To me this is a little annoying. I like to be able to have more control over my ISO and aperture but that is lost with its sports mode. I am wondering if on the 10D and 20D you can use al servo in more costomizable situations. If so, what are they and how is it costomizable? Can you just turn on and off al servo, or is the sports mode more customizable? If so, to what extent?

I believe that the digital Rebel firmware hack gives you this ability for free.

I don't own either, but I did a lot of research on them before I bought my...erm...Nikon D70. They both have the option for choosing the AF mode (with a button on top/main control dial combo, I believe). And if I'm not mistaken, the Rebel XT also allows you to pick the AF mode with one of the back buttons...

I don't know how to put this, but...I'm kind of a big deal...People know me.

Check out the Rebel XT - it has the al servo feature.

20D you just turn on AI servo and it does what you tell it.
But on my first body it was really badly off.
The replacement is far better, now I want more cross=type sensors instead of only one in the centre.
    Time to save for a 1Ds !!

I shoot the 20D, and it allows complete flexibility in the use of AI servo mode. In the past 3 months, I have shot nearly 6000 clicks, most of them basketball in the manual mode using AI servo. Any of the programmed zones limit some function of the camera.
