    What format(s) do you shoot?
Now that PR's Film Forum is up and running, I would like to get some sort of an idea of the needs of the film users visiting the board. To start off with, I'm curious as to the various formats modern film users are shooting. So let's hear it, what format(s) are you currently shooting? (Please check all that apply)

Thanks for chiming in Brian :D I'm currently shooting 35mm and 120 now as well, though lately it's primarily been 120. Your photos definitely have me wanting to pick up a "toy" camera! I see a Holga or a Diana in my not so distant future :D

I would suggest a Holga, and I would suggest that you buy it from www.holgamods.com.
    Tell Randy I sent you.
Randy is a great guy and is doing great things for toy camera and film photography!

35mm Nikon, usually my old FM2N. Also lugging a Mamiya 645 Pro TL around with me on nature shoots. I shoot Fuji Velvia 50/100 almost exclusively and have been for years. I prefer Kodak Portra 160 NC for portraiture, just beautiful right out of the camera no need to mess with it. And the other thing digital can't do is Tmax 3200 :D Such a beautiful film in its own right. I love film very much, and plan to go bigger and bigger in film until my camera gets so heavy I can't carry it anymore.

Thanks for posting Rick :D I'm going to start calling you the "Velvia Kid" actually...LOL Keep posting some more shots. I'm hoping they'll motivate me enough to do some solo hike/shoots along the Appalachian Trail this Winter :D

I'm a simple 35mm man myself. I've had some smaller and larger formats in my time, but 35mm is my favorite and current format.

When it comes to film, most of my stuff is 35mm slides. Long live VELVIA! I also have an old Kodak Vigilent 620 film camera that I have run a few rolls through. It used 120 film, but you have to respool it onto 620 spools. It shoots in a 6x9 format. Fun to play with, and the looks I get when I pull it out are priceless. :) Would like to get a TLR one of these day, but too many other things need to come first.

I have shot some 120 in the past, but I just prefer the quick and easy nature of 35mm. So, I'm completely 35mm now. I shoot Fuji Slide film and various B&W that I develop in my kitchen. Everything then gets scanned. I've been amazed at the quality I can get with 35mm since I got my Bessa. Who needs medium format? :D

Once I find time and $$$ to make myself a film loading room I will have some 2x3 and 4x5 shoots to post. The 5x7 and 8x10 will com later after I build the cameras.

Build the cameras, huh? Very interesting! Do you remember the name Doug Busch? He is/was right here in my town building very large format cameras - 16x20, etc.

Couple of 35mm cameras floating around here currently, have used a Bronica SQ-A which is along the lines of a Hasselblad. Always had a "thing" about the Mamiya 7ii and 4x5 field cameras...

I shoot 35mm, 120, and 4X5...but about 90% of my 'work' (my serious stuff) is 120/220. Love the 4X5 but its SUCH a PITA to move around, setup/tear down etc. But truly...there is NOTHING like a large format negative. =)

It was Nikon at first, then I had my hiatus, then I put some Canon and a fresh Nikon in there (which is when I really started up with film again recently) and now it's back to Nikon since I dumped my Canon system.
Currently shoot my film with the F6 (sometimes with the MB-40 grip) and an old F2.

Re: What format(s) do you shoot?
Well, I guess I'll just chime in...the only format I use now is digital, but I do have 2 Pentax 35mm film slr's...but the are stored away. I have tried to use them before I got my first digital with miserable results. Maybe after I learn a bit more about photography, I might take another shot at it. I'll watch the forum here and try to learn and maybe get excited!!!!
Good luck and congrats on the new forum!!!!
