Got my first roll developed today that I shot on my pentax mf camera. I'm a little less than thrilled wiht the color balance, saturation, and contrast, but overall I think they are ok. Is this a case where a UV filter would have improved the prints?
Don't ask the exif.. lol...

What film were you shooting? Were these prints or negative scans? Judging by the shadows you were shooting in midday sun which is not very forgiving unfortunately. A UV or Haze filter would help some or ideally a Polarizer. I'm assuming your 50mm lens uses 52mm filters. You can pick up used polarizers for cheap in that size and would make a big difference in a situation like that.
