    Putting Portra Through It's Paces

So I managed to get my hands on the new (well released a couple months ago) Portra 400. Having always wanted to try it out for actual portrait work in a professional environment, my May 7th wedding the bride and groom said that I was more than happy to let me use a film camera and the Portra for their formal portraits (I used digital as well for a majority)

Using a 400 speed film on the 7th was a bit of overkill the 160 would have worked just as well but I didn't have any. But it let me use a nice tight aperture.

I have been wanting to try Porta but it's so expensive. Nice shots.
