i like both of these films very much, and i have discovered that portra NC does well with indoor lighting, while the outdoor photos can look very generic (for lack of better word i guess :X). portra vc turns out horrible indoors (very yellow in all my attempts) but does amazing outdoors, pulling out many natural tones

plus they are both c-41 which means i can just drop them off at walgreens

Hi Daniel, welcome to PR I think your indoor experience has more to do with the indoor lighting you were shooting in. In the shot you posted above, you were under fluorescent light and my guess would be they were "daylight" ones seeing how the color isn't too far off. I would venture to guess your VC experience was shot under incandescent light which will definitely give a yellow cast. Here is a link to what you can expect with Portra NC under incandescent light. Glad to see another film lover out there
