    More Toys
I've been looking for one of these for a while, and now I have one. The infamous Nikon F3, the camera that started the "red stripe" on nikon bodies.

The Nikkor AI-S 105mm 1:2.5 - I originally got this while I was still using Minolta gear, someone gave it to me, I found it again recently for use on my D300, makes a perfect pairing for the F3.

Some of the first shots off the camera. Lens - Nikkor AI-S 105mm 1:2.5, Kodak Tmax 400

Very cool Alex! That's a great looking camera, and the shots you posted are fantastic. I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot. And on a side note, look at the film forum rockin with all these "new" (old) cameras in everyone's hands; that's great to see.

That's a beauty of a camera Alex! How do you like the 105? I have an older version and the bokeh is awesome.

Thanks! Yes, we have to keep the film forums rocking! Almost every time I go into a camera store I pick up a roll or two, something I've never shot with before. I may not use it right away, but I'll have it there for later. I currently have a roll of Fuji Pro 160C in my F80 and the last roll of Vario-XL in my MZ-7.

As for the 105 AI-S, I love it, brilliant lens, works beautifully on the F30 and D300!

I think, my next camera I get...but not for a long time will be a 120 format TLR. But first I need to get a new desktop computer.

I know, I know, that's my bad, sorry :( Things are quiet now at work and I'm getting more time to shoot and be online. If you have any ideas on things you would like to see in the film forum, feel free to run a thread on whatever topic you want or drop me a pm with your ideas

    LONG LIVE FILM! :D

    Que, the song "Memories" please....
Back in college, I had two F3s, they are wonderful cameras, and I even had the 105 f/2.5 lens too.
    Fade out: "Memories"
    :biggrin5:
Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

I use a Nikon N90S, but it was a tossup between that and the F4... Oh well, heh. An F3 or F2 is my next film camera. >.>
