    Ilford and Kentmere
Ilford has acquired Kentmere recently, and in doing so becomes the premiere and virtually only maker of a full line of silver halide film and paper products.

Kentmere's papers are going to continued to be suppled in formulations now used by Ilford in their process.

Ilford continues to state their support for the traditional process photography with film, paper, and chemistry.

I've got an assortment of Ilford film in several sizes arriving (according to that magic shipping 'bot in the computer) Friday.

We'll see what I can find to shoot!

Those who want to shoot film for the near or long term future need to support this product line as it may shortly become one of the few left readily available. Much of the older stocks of papers are being snatched up for future editions by printers and fine art photogs.

Hi drg. Saw their merger a little while ago. Should make for a wonderful union. Right now I'm pretty set on Fuji's B&W film's. I love the results I get from them. That being said, now that I'm starting to get stuff for the upcoming darkroom I will be going almost entirely with Kentmere and Ilford products to start. I have 3 boxes of Ilfospeed on the way and am leaning towards Kentmere Kentona or Bromide for final prints. Still haven't quite made up my mind on paper developers yet. Looking forward to seeing what you end up finding to shoot
