    Video Request For Research
    hello everyone,

i'm here looking for video clips of special nature. My research involves (still) images that are *distorted by atmospheric turbulence*. Here are some examples:

1- see the last 5 seconds of this clip:

2- the last 4 seconds of this clip:

    3- and this clip:

Unfortunately, while the 3 examples above are great for my research, the original videos are too expensive (at least $300 each).

So I was wondering if some members here can share some of their footage of a similar nature (note, I already got one clip of the moon, and therefore I hope you guys can help with different subjects, for example, structures observed in the midday heat).

I moved your post to our video forum where it will get more attention. Have you looked on YouTube? I've never heard of the site you've posted links for and honestly, it makes your post feel spammy.

go buy a cheap 1000mm mirror lens and a 3x converter. at 3000X magnification you can start to notice the distortion created by individual oxygen atoms, the sort of thing you typically see as heat haze.
