uploading video

hi there

im a newbie at this so please bear with me.

what i want to know is how to upload video from the tape of a digital video camera to my computer.

the camera is a panasonic NV-GS200 and the manual is hopeless

any help would be greatly appreciated as i have footage of my brothers wedding that id like to upload and make into a dvd.

Basically you need either a firewire or usb port on your camera and on your computer and then the software to do the upload. A tryout version of Premiere Elements will work, if you do not have anything else already. A cable which probably came with the camera is also necessary.
