    Canon mvx 330i...any good?

I'm about to make my first DV cam purchase and was looking at the canon mvx 330i. Anyone here have any experience/opinions on this model and/or make any suggestions for other cameras at a similar price-point ($850 AU)

    Features I'm after:
Good image and sound quality (ie, not too much camera noise)
    Analogue input
    True Widescreen option

Canon's have always had nice microphones, i don't see why this one should be any different. their image quality is as good as any and often gives more vibrant colour reproductions than similar models. other than that is appears to have everything you want, i am not sure if canon are playing branding games with the "real widescreen" technology but it appear geniune and is probably an answer to the fact that australia is heading toward having hi definition television as a standard.
