Sony Digital8 help!!

Okay i just bought a sony digital8(not the one with the memory card) and cant figure out what i need to put it on the computer or how to do it?

The software that came with your Sony and or Movie Maker on a windows machine or Imovie on the Mac will be a good start. You are going to need a cable and maybe a card to put it into the computer. Its known by many names including Ilink, IEEE 1394 and by its common name, firewire. Check your computer to see if you have the port, buy the cable and follow the directions.
