? on a samsung camcorder

I saw one of the new sport models at Circuit City today and really liked the removable lens feature, I think it would be awesome to attach it to my motorcycle helment and capture some footage, my problem is it only records in the mpeg 4 format and I also want to use the camera for basic family things. Would this still be a good choice to make dvd's from or is there another way to get the removable lens on another brand with some better features?

i have heard nothing but bad things about this camera setup as far as using it for a helmet type setup. the cord from the camera to the bullet is very short and the record time blows. i will use a whole 1 hour tape on some rides so i could imagine being so limited as you are with th esmasung model. i was excited when i first saw ads for it but it seems they dropped the ball or didn't really do there homework. just get a small mini dv cam and one of those helmet cam setups off eday. all together i spent about 500 putting mine together.
