PC350 internal button battery

Anyone ever replaced the internal "button" battery inside a Sony PC350E ?? Also - has anyone ever had problems using the Lanc connection ?

I once had to replace a battery on an old Nikon/Sony Hi8, but nothing newer. We've only used the LANC control on a VX1000 with the manfrotto remote control pan handle. No real problems with that either
