plugged canon Zr85 into cig lighter charger and now won't come on

plugged my zr85 mini dv camcorder into a cig lighter adapter to charge the camera on the go......it has worked before, but all of a sudden tonight, it turned it self off, and won't come back on


not even if you use the home charger plugged into the camera ????

take the charger and camera to your local camera shop and get them to test it. sounds like something blew in the power converter though and you will probably need to buy a new charger.
