Panasonic VDR-M95

I am buying my first digital video camera and think I am interested in the Panasonic VDR-M95. Any advice or observations. I can't seem to find the Size fo the CCDs on any of the specs. Does anyone know? Any advice would be helpful. I want an easy to use dvd video with good low light ratings for general family and vacation videos.

The camera appears to be in the pipeline. They are taking pre-orders at jr.com out of New York. Here is the link from the Panasonic Press room. It doesn't mentiion chip number or size.

there is a short film competition in Newcastle (australia) that has developed a cult following, basically you rock up with your crew and they give you a list of shots that must be included in the film from around the area and you have the weekend to shoot it. oh and all editing must be done in camera.... so the ability to non linear edit in camera would be very handy. Lots of fun and suprisingly good films are often made.
