new file when I hit "pause"

Hello,
Why does my samsung :rolleyes: Memory Camcorder sc-mx20 create a new file every time I hit the pause button? Can anyone help?

I am sorry for taking so long to reply to your post, normally things happen a bit quicker here. As far as I am aware it is normal for your camera to do this. otherwise you end up with one very long and very large video file that would be cumbersome to edit. have a read of the manual though, you may be able to turn the setting off although I doubt it.
