New DV Camcorder with reverse recording??

Hello, i am looking into buying a new DV camcorder for around $400. One thing that i would like to be able to do, but im not sure it is possible, is:

I want to be able to plug a s-video or composite cable into my VCR, and plug the other end into my camcorder and record what is being played from the vcr onto the camera. Is this even possible? if so, what kind of a camera can do this sort of job?

Yes it can, just make sure that the camera can do it. You need to look for one that can audio and video dub.
