MiniDV and Video IN

Hello All,

First time posting here, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I am a hardcore airsoft player and I am looking into getting a MiniDV that I can hook a helmet camera up to. I have been wanting one of these things forever but never really got around to getting one.

I was looking at the Canon Line of cameras since my buddy's dad owns a design studio and said that Canon's products are pretty nice. I was mainly looking at the ZR200 since it’s a step up from the ZR100 and it doesn't cost a huge load of money.

The specs are somewhat sketchy where it talks about Video IN and I don't really know if it will accept a Video IN from the helmet camera. It talks about recording from your peripherals to the MiniDV as an analog to digital signal, but I'm not sure if this is a pure Video IN.

Can someone verify this or at least point me to a Mini DV that’s not crazy expensive that has the capabilities of Video IN for a helmet camera?
