sdr h200 usb question

So i have the panasonic sdr-h200 digital video camera and was wondering if it is at all possible to have the video display through the usb onto my PC. the only thing i can compare what i want to do is almost a USB webcam, but thats not what i want to use it for.

Is there any possible solutions to this, homebrew or official? right now when the camera is connect via USB it just acts as an external read only hardrive.

not through usb, only through firewire. I have had my panasonic act as a webcam on my mac through firewire. I have never tried it on a pc but I am guessing there is some software around that would allow it to work
