DIY , how can i make my own digital video camera ?

    Hi All,

My name is George and im new to the forum and this is my first post!

Im not into photography but im very interested in underwater cameras because i want to shot some video of some underwater footage, by having the camera attached to a speargun.

i have seen some examples on the internet (ATC3K, ATC5K) but i do not like their resollution-quality alot.

So i thought, why don't i make my own (or at least try to make my own)

I would like to know of sources and if its possible to do the following:
find a little camera that i iwll waterproff somehow.. then find a recorder module that will record on SD or mini SD cards (the recorrder module should be able to record from whatever the camera give it and store it on the Sd card, also the SD must be of a good capacity 2GB or 4GB !!!)

and of course i want to be able to operate the camera on off to record through a waterproof button !!!

    can anyone help please !!!!

    thanks all,

    George

    Panasonic SDR-SW20 Waterproof SD camcorder

It's only good for maybe a couple meters deep, but you won't be able to film anything deeper than that without extra light sources anyway.
