i have no clue what camera to get or what to look for

hi, i would like to get a mini dv camcorder. me and my friends are into biking and i want to be able to video tape them and edit some movies on my computer. Im not sure what cameras to look at or what features i should be looking for in a camera. I dont want to spend any more that 350. Im not looking for professional equptment or anything and im not expecting to get that for my price range. I just dont want a camera that takes unclear videos or would have features not suitable for filming spots. Could you please suggest some cameras that would be good for me or suggest features i should make sure i have. Thanks a lot.

It would really be hard to go wrong with a entry level camera from one of the majors, Canon, Panasonic, JVC or Sony. Just make sure that you have the firewire card and cable for your computer, it doesn't come with the camera, and an extra high capacity battery. A tripod wouildn't be a bad idea either.

    Good luck.
