Canon or Sony??

Hey guys, im considering to buy one of these video cameras, the prices are generally in the same range, but I'd like to know which camera is better.

That is a tough question as both those cameras have a lot going for them. I suggest you head to a good camera store and have a play with each of them to see which you prefer. personally i prefer canon over sony, but really both cameras are great.
