format blues

aarrgghh,
I created a 10 min film in final cut pro. I have burnt it as an avi file to a dvd and copied it to my pc. I would like to either burn it to dvd, apparently the version of nero i have (6) will not encode the file unless i by an additional plug in. Or import the file into windows movie maker so i can resize it and burn it as a vcd. I know this sounds very cumbersome, and i do have the required hardware on order but this film is to be screened at a function tonight and i am out of options, so can anyone point me in the direction of a codec for movie maker so i can import the file or a program that will allow me to burn the avi to dvd.

try tmpgenc.net, they might have something that can help. I hope its not too late.

I have burn't a vcd, but having talked to the projectionist we are going to play it off the mini dv master tape.
