Best way to play video clips on your tv set?
    Hello,
I am wondering how most people play the many digital video clips that they capture on the memory cards of their digital cameras? I would like to be able to play mine over my tv set. I have tried making video cds, but I find the quality is poor. Is there a better way to go?

there is your answer the quality of video from a still camera is not as good as the quality of video from a video camera. if you want better video buy a device that was designed for the purpose you are using it for rather than an add on feature to sell more units.

true some still cameras are getting better in terms of the video they produce, however the way they save the video is still inferior from an editing perspective.

Check your box for a set of AV cables and your instruction book. You can usually hook up the camera directly to the TV. As Skyman mentioned, the images you are watching are not recorded with full motion video in mind. The resolution is low and you don't have the right amount of frames per second for full motion video. It's just the simple trade off that you get with recording video on a still camera.
