Anyone capturing video from Sony Camcorder?

Is Anyone capturing video fro a Sony Camcorder to their computer? I am trying with Nero 6 and the video captures too slowly, like in frames or slower. I have upgraded to the latest versions of Nero, and am using high speed USB 2 with Windows XP. I would sure like to talk to someone that has had success with this. Please help, Terry. :confused:
