Question Video Editing Program: Recommendation Needed

    Hi there!
I just boaght a new digital videocam (Sony DCR-HC32E) to be able to record videos which I can use to create presentations. I am, therefore, looking for software that is easy to use and is able to cut and move around scenes, insert text labels, add music, etc.
What is the best program to purchase?

    thanks
    nic

Depends on your budget. The two most popular windows based programs that I know of are Adobe Premiere and Canopus. Didn't you get any software with your videocamera. Also did you know there is a Video Forum down in the lower bottom http://forums.photographyreview.com/...splay.php?f=28 of the forum listings.

    Welcome to the forums.

depends on what you are doing, final cut pro 2 certainly has its limitations, if you are looking at proffesional stuff then the main names are final cut pro(up to version 4 i think) adobe premier, pinnalce liquid edition, media 100 and avid.

however it sounds like you are looking for an simpler to use program so any of the following would work well. canopus ez edit, pinnacle studio 9, apple i-movie and to a lesser extent windows movie maker.

    enjoy

I'd have to agree with Skyman. Of the non-professional bunch, the Pinnacle seems to be one of the mrore affordable packages out there. Are you on a Mac or a PC based machine? The Avid Xpress Pro/HD will work on both platforms, while the Final Cut Express/Pro will only run on the Mac.

    Good Luck.

You can try to use VideoCharge Studio.

It is universal video editor, very simple for use, and have very much function, the best for batch video encoding and it..
