    What are these spots?
Here's a photo that I recently took of by daughter on a trampoline, late at night? What are the spots on the photo. I tried removing t6hem using noise ninja, but no luck. The camera is a Nikon L1

    Hi,

To me, it looks like the flash fired, and bounced off dust particles in the air. Try taking some shots without flash, see if the spots disappear.

Since the flash is so close to the lens on a Nikon L1, there is more chance red-eye, or reflections such as these occurring. A hot-shoe mount version would help solve this problems.

Also, check the front of your flash/lens to make sure its clean.

If it wasn't raining - I'd look at the lens, and see if it needs cleaning.
Spots of dust can be lit up by flash.

I have 3 spots I can't get rid of on my LZ-5 which show up only with flash...

Dust on the lens/ dslr sensor. Dust motes in the air, a tiny aperture makes either of these possible. try cleaning either of these carefully.

Not sensor dust, that doesn't show up as light spots.
It casts a shadow on the sensor and appears black.
Also at night the lens is likely to be wide open even with flash (because of the distance) and sensor dust shows up most when the aperture is stopped down.
