What are real advantages of SLR technlogy

I am wondering that how can I get maximum benefits from SLR technology and whats the difference with other?

The advantages are that SLR grows with you, lets you experiment, and gives you the best performance in low light, bright light, sports action, the works. And better glass. MUCH better glass.

My suggestion is to learn the RULE OF THIRDS. Take pictures with your back to the sun. And get a 1A skylight filter for every lens you have.

These three steps alone with amp up your photo quality better than just about anything.
