warranty...

i have an opportunity to get the canon 20d w/kit for 1099.00. there trying to sell me the warranty 2years for 300.00. is the warranty worth it? has anyone gotten it and realized they didnt need it, and with they got a lense instead? any help would be great, thanks.

That is too much for a 20d warranty. Check ebay or Google "Mack Warranties" or "Mack warranty" and you will find numerous links and resellers. $50-75 is probably a reasonable range for a 3 year warranty on a new 20d.
