    optech camera strap

I'm not a big time photographer but several times a year I am in places where I want to be carrying my camera most of the day. I presently have a regular shoulder strap and end up holding my camera in my hand and it gets tiring after a couple of hours or less.

Wondering if anyone has this set up or similar? http://www.adorama.com/OTBCHE.html?s...1422&item_no=1

Are there others who make similar?

    Thanks!

    Re: optech camera strap

I haven't used one, but have thought about it. I know most of the serious birders I see use straps like that to carry their binoculars. I have seen straps like that at stores like Walmart (sporting goods section) and even had them in my cart, but didn't think I needed them so I put them back.

As long as you're not carying a huge, heavy lens, I think they would work great.

    Re: optech camera strap

I guess maybe I'll look at one at our WalMarche. I try to avoid buying stuff I can't try first. Optech has other models that are more for binocs that don't have the quick disconnect clips which I'd want to have.
