    Good article!

That's a great article, Uwe. It's simple, short, and to the point. I'm still saving to single external drives and I'm very uncomfortable with my lack of backups. I want to build a new system similar to what you've got, but I can't affotrd to right now. On the other hand, can I afford not to?

Thanks for pointing out how important the backup software is. That's something I hadn't considered at all. But now I realize that the software is key. Hardware is great, but you need an interface to make utilizing it simple and effective.
