A million apologies if this isn't the appropriate place for this post. That said, I'm a newbie and looking to purchase a DSLR for taking photos of the kiddos but also hoping to get into other types of photography as well. I'm not looking to spend a bundle and these two cameras seem to be the ones that keep rising to the top of the heap. What do you all suggest? Also, what the heck is "noise"????
