    So I'm finally getting the 7D.....
    Yep, I purchased the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D today. I'll probably recieve it within the next week or so. So, before I get it, open it, and mess around with it, is there any tips, tricks, or things I should know about the camera?

    Also, what accessories do you suggest I purchase for the camera? Lens? Etc etc.

    Any information that you have about this camera, that I might not already know, please share it in this thread.

    p.s. - I havent been too active on the forums lately, this school year is coming to an end and i've been busy with that and some family affairs. But I assure you, once I get this camera, pictures WILL be posted. :)

    All of them. :D

    Most people (although not me personally) have a zoom lens in the 17 or 18, to 55 or 80 range as a normal zoom - replacing the 28-80 or 28-105 that you may be used to for a 35mm SLR. Focal lengths are decreased but the angle of view is pretty similar this way. Beyond that, it really depends on what you want to do with the camera and your budget.
