    Riknon Lenses

I was looking at lenses today and noticed a new brand Rokinon, well new to me. I did a search for Rokinon lens on the forum but didn't come up with anything. I did some Google searching and didn't come up with much either. The Amazon reviews seems to be pretty good across all the major camera brands and for the price I'm a bit skeptical. One thing that came up when I was searching was the mix up between Rokinon and Rikenon, I guess they are very different. I was looking at the Rokinon Nikon mount 85mm 1.4 prime. Anyone have any ideas?

    Re: Riknon Lenses

People that have bought it from Amazon seem to give it fairly good reviews for the money.
Seems the only issue is that it won't auto focus on some low end cameras.

Thanks for the reply! I saw that too, I have a D90 so I think I should be okay. It just seems odd that there isn't much on the web other than Amazon.

    Re: Riknon Lenses

It's obviously not a common or preferred lens brand.
Just be careful since quality control may not be that great.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
