    Reflectors...and their use!
    Hello everyone!!

I was wondering as follows...can anyone explain the use for reflectors and the individual colors... I have a general idea as to their purpose...but what are they really used for?

    Thanks!

Reflectors are designed to do just what their name implies: reflect. They are used to reflect light onto your subject. A simplified way to think about it is that a reflector is a second light source. For example: if your shooting a person outside on a bright sunny day, you can use a reflector to bounce the light back onto your subject to help reduce the shadows on the side of their face that is away from the sun. I have a set of reflectors, but haven't had the chance to use them much yet, but that is the basic principle behind them.
