    No extra batteries anymore
Do you know the external battery pack called MyBattery Pro? It's a Lithium Ion with 4400 mAh capacity , 4 times larger than BP-511 / 1100mAh. so you can use it for all day long, once you charge it full. It's worth to check the compatibility to your camera that you are using now. In addition, compatible with some Canon Digital EOS using optional DC Coupler. Look at website and take an advantage of it. What do you think?

IMHO... Big, heavy, and bulky. The BP-511 easily lasts a full day of heavy shooting in a DSLR and even carrying a few spares is a lot simpler than this.

Many person think that external battery disturb to work with camera, but after using it, no one complains about that. The battery size is 3" x 3.5"x 1", half pound weight. Put it in your pocket or attached to your belt. It's very small and light.
Digital Camera consume power on every actions whenever you switch on/off, press shutter, get focus and exposure. We don't know when the battery going to die in any circumstances.
