You need to decide what camera you want, not us. If you have specific questions about certain functions etc, features etc, please ask them. You gave no information on what you want to shoot, what features you want/need etc.

The best way to choose a camera is to first decide what you want to shoot. Then decide what functions you need. That will narrow down the bodies/systems you look at. You are nto buying a camera, you are buying a system. The body will be replaced in time, but if you buy good glass and take care of it, the glass will last for ever. To compare cameras features this is a good site to do so: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sidebyside.asp

Once you have decided on what bodies interest you, look at the systems available from those manufactures. Canon and Nikon probably have more choices of lenses and accessories than any of the others. Which companies have the systems that you are interested in.

Now go to a good camera store, not own of those big box places, and look at the cameras. Hold them, check the control placements. Use them there in the store. Check out the lenses and accessories for each camera. Take a memory card or two and shoot some pictures in jpg. Now go home and compare the results. Decide which one you liked the best when shooting that gave you acceptable results. If you do this you should end up with the best camera for you because you choose it based on your tests, not someone elses opinions. Good luck.
