NIKON D 5000 live view focusing sound
    Dear All,

I just bought a NIKON D 5000 and i have observed a strange noise in live view shooting mode while i press shutter release to focus. Is it a defect or it normal for other cameras as well. I do not hear this sound in any other shooting mode. I use AF S NIKKOR 18-105 lense

    Thanks for your feed back

Digital SLRs use a different focusing system in Live View than they do when you're using the optical viewfinder. They often hunt a little more, which would mean a little more lens focusing motor noise.
