    Night Photography
    Hello All,

Its been awhile since i have been on here but ive been very busy in college, and unfortunatly i have not been able to play with my camara. Im home for break now and I would like to learn to take some night pictures. I have attempted to take some on my own but i cant get the colors right. I am a novice at photography so I was hoping to get some hints and tips from you all ( remember im a novice so dont use big fancy words). I have a Canon 20D with the EF-S 18-55mm lens... any help is apriciated

    Thanks!

The best thing to do is post some examples so we can help you. Also post the camera settings as that will also help.

I just learned that the UV filter (if you have one to prevent scratches and dust on your lens) causes lights to reflect on different parts of the picture, so one of the things I would say, is remove all filters from your lens.
